Modelco Lipstick in Abbey

A great find from Modelco's
Satin Lip Couture line

I was pleasantly surprised with this lippie
Wasn't really expecting much from it
I thought the mirror thingy was all its got
And that it's just gonna be another forgettable lipstick

But i was totally wrong...
This lippie feels so darn good!
It even has the feel of a more expensive lipstick

Say hi to Abbey

Clean white rectangular casing...
Easy to find in a sea of black lipsticks

Built-in mirror

I like this clever addition
No need to fumble for your compact anymore!
Makes lipstick application so much easier
Especially when you're always on the go

Super hydrating
(you can tell from this shot)

So soft, silky and satiny!
Really lives up to its' Satin Lip Couture line
I don't even need to apply balm anymore
Coz' its ultra moisturizing!

Swatch test

With flash on my lips

Without flash
(I know this pose looks weird
But i can't think of any other "lip poses"..hehe!)

The color is so lovely too!
It instantly brightens the face
Even with just one swipe
Its creamy texture evens the liptone
And it doesn't bleed nor crease
Only downside is that it's not longlasting
Lasted about 3 hours--tops!
But that's pretty ok for me anyway

Will i repurchase?

Absolutely yes!
I'm very happy with this product
This is the kind of lipstick that you have to try
In order to appreciate
It may not be as popular as MAC or Nars
But it truly is a great find

Ok, enough of the gushing!
Thanks for revisiting
Stay PRETTY!!!
Mwaaah!!! :-)

P.S..
I'm thinking of doing something exciting  for you guys soon (maybe after the holidays)...

Stay tuned for updates:-)

Modelco Gel Eyeliner

Great find from Modelco. Tiny sized eyeliner with a huge paunch.

Here's a fine eyeliner from Modelco. I saw it from Beautybar's freebie magazine. I had to place an order since they didn't have it on stock that time. A few days later the SA called me to say it was ready so off I went to collect another Modelco item.

At first I was surprised to see how tiny it is. I expected it to be small but not that small! It is also very lightweight. I'm not complaining though coz the size is perfect for my always FULL makeup bag.

Longlasting gel that doesnt smudge. Hassle free to use.

Clever packaging. With built in brush that screws into the lid

I like how they incorporated the liner brush within the cap. Super smart! Perfect for those who doesn't like to keep fumbling and looking for their brushes each time which is especially annoying when you're in a rush!

All you have to do is click the end of the brush into the lid for a longer handle. That's all! Easy as 1-2-3! Handy and convenient for travelling.

A little goes a long way.

Gel eyeliner

This small pot could last for eons. No kidding!

The few strokes I applied on my lids barely caused a dent to the solid black gel. I couldn't even imagine how long before I could finish this thing off!

Sharp tipped brush.

I like this brush coz it defines my eyes with such precision. The gel is distributed finely and evenly. It also glides smoothly which is pure joy since I hate liners that seems choppy. If you want more dramatic eyes just layer it over. All you need is a steady hand for that enviably perfect stroke!

But to those who hates holding a teeny tiny brush then this ain't the right one for you, you might just get frustrated trying to balance it with your fingers.

No mess application

Super long staying. The swatch EVEN stayed on my hand until the next day.

I didn't have to worry about fading eyeliner even after a long day. It stayed put like a glue. In fact it surpassed even the strongest obstacle...my oily skin! It passed with flying colors and even more...

Great purchase

How could something so tiny contain something that could last for ages and at the same time be longwearing?

Only Modelco's gel liner knows why...

I am generally pleased with this product. It didn't flake nor smudge on me. Will I repurchase? Yes, at around $32 dollars it is WORTH every penny! But at the rate i'm going, the next pot will have to be several light years away!

Thanks a bunch for your time my sweeties! It's highly appreciated! :-)

Modelco Cheek and Lip Tint Review

Modelco's cheek and lip stain

I like the sassy packaging

Rosy Red shade

A tiny dot is enough

Just blend FAST

For that sheer color

That looks natural after awhile

 My red-stained fingers

Nice product

Price-1595 (around $30)
Size-10ml/0.33fl.oz

As with any other Modelco items, I'm instantly attracted to their fuschia signature color. Very eyecatching!

I dig the pink and silver combination of the packaging. It has that funky, girly and edgy vibe. The tube feels so light that it got me worried if the contents inside were even enough. Everytime I squeeze the tube, a lot of air would puff out before the actual gel itself. As if I'm on my last few drops of the product already, i hated that feeling and to think I just opened it! Ok I know I sometimes fuss with even the tiniest things. The OC in me notices even unnecessary details. Oh well...that's just me:-)

The transparent gel is almost watery in consistency. It is easy to apply and blends well on the skin. You just have to smudge it fast for that nice and even consistency. Since it is very sheer, you might have to apply another layer just in case you want more intensity.

The color is pretty and looks natural. Like that sexy flushed look after a long strenuous workout. You can fool anybody that your cheeks are naturally rosy. This tint is a good alternative to my HG tint Benetint. In fact it is a good dupe. It looks and feels the same. Another plus is that it's longlasting! It practically stayed with me for hours and hours.

This product didn't wow me the way Benetint did. It is quite overpriced too. I cannot find the ingenious "twist" Modelco usually have with their products. There is nothing extraordinary about it that I cannot find in other more affordable brands. I don't think I'll repurchase this again. But if it will come with a cheaper price I might reconsider. I like this item but I also know I can live without it. I'd be happier to receive this as a gift instead! Overall, it's still a good product to try and I was quite satisfied with it.

That's it! Hope to see you again soon! Have a pretty weekend ahead ladies :-)
