She's So Fine!

stylish

Have you ever had girl crushes? Or have you discreetly tried to check another pretty girl out? I'm guilty of such! Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% a girlie girl but the sight of a sexy, foxy lady strutting by makes my head turn 360 degrees.

I appreciate beauty in all forms. Tall, short, blondes, brunettes, tan, black, white, slim and curvy. As long as the girl behind it knows how to carry herself well. Dresses impeccably and exudes that confident attitude. I admire women who take the extra effort to look their very best when going out. Of course if you're a natural knockout beauty you'd turn heads effortlessly.

But even the average girl-next-door could elicit the same reaction if she knows how to carry herself , knows how to make the most out of what she's got, and knows how to flaunt and highlight her positive attributes. I often find myself thinking "Man I wish I had her style!" or "I never knew those shoes and purse could actually look good together!" or "Damn her makeup looks so good on her, I wonder what products she used" or "I'd kill to have gorgeous legs like her!" and the thought bubbles goes on and on...

Men check out girls most of the time. But when it's women who checks you out, I think it's the highest form of flattery. Why? Coz we are the discerning bunch. We easily spot and criticize any flaw or imperfections. We are the hardest ones to please. Maybe because most of us has this built-in attitude that I'm better than her or we normally see ourselves higher than the average girl. So when THAT somebody enters the picture, oozing with so much sex appeal, with that elusive X-factor, our senses begin to go mumbo- jumbo. Well, how often do you get to see a woman who makes your jaw drop?

One time I remember being at the counter of Target. The woman behind me is oozing with so much appeal. In fact she doesn't even seem to know it. She's wearing plain tracksuit, barely a trace of makeup, her hair up in a bun with a few wisps on the side. I elbowed my younger sister and silently whispered "Hey check that girl out!" of which she replied,"Yeah, already did!". We both had that understanding, we both knew and were both silently in awe. I wished I was like her...

There are tons of pretty women everywhere. In L.A. alone there are lots of wannabe actresses who even looks better than the actual stars. Even some of the cocktail ladies at the casinos or the strippers that I've seen in Vegas could give real models a run for their money, if given the chance. There are thousands of unknown beauties undiscovered and unrecognized. But they continue to give delight to the eyes of regular denizens and Joes.

These goodlooking girls makes me wanna better myself. I get inspired by em'. I get tips and pointers just by staring at them alone. I mentally list whatever things I like so that I can try to apply and emulate it. Note to myself: buy those heels, wear similar belt, get that cute top...etc...etc. It's not just the beauty that knocks me out but their sense of styles as well.

Somewhere, somehow, some eye would look at us. Appraise us and judge us unknowingly. So we better prepare ourselves and get ready. Nothing is worse than a sight of an unkempt woman who doesn't give a care in the world. TREY I always make it a point to look decent even if I'm just going to buy tampons. For I don't know who I might bump into. I certainly don't wanna hear acquaintances say "What the f*?! happened to her?". It's okay to be vain and do whatever it is that floats your boat as long as you look good, then you'll feel good.

stylish

So for all the single ladies, always try to primp and prettify yourselves everytime you go out coz who knows Mr Dreamboat might just be lurking at the corner, or perhaps you might even catch the eye of some prince of Persia or Tuttamunga.

For all those who are taken, please never ever let go of your looks or style. Men gets pleased with a woman who preserves her beauty. And lastly, for those who simply don't care. I rest my case. God bless you all! Ta-ta!:-)

Tarte Cheek Stain

She's been with me for the longest time

One stick could last for almost like an eternity:-)

Solid gel type (reminds me of a deodorant)

Upon application it looks bright...

...but after awhile, it blends perfectly with the skin for that natural flushed look!

I don't have naturally rosy cheeks. That's why I envy people who are blessed with that sun kissed look. It looks so healthy, vibrant and glowing. It instantly adds prettiness to the face.

Because of that, I heavily rely on my blush ons and tints to provide what mother nature has forgotten to bless me. I dont want to pinch my cheeks for that temporary blush which only goes off in less than 10 seconds. Duh! who does that anyway? So naturally, there's no other way but to fake it.

I have long heard of Tarte cheek stain. I've read about it in magazines and blogs. I wanted to get one badly based on the positive reviews it got. So when I saw it at Sephora I didn't think twice at all about getting one.

rosy cheeks   You just need to dab the gel gently on your cheeks. A few pats could go a long way. Gels are great coz it doesn't cake nor crease the way some powder blush does. Just spread it evenly and it would blend with your skin effortlessly. And ta-da! Instant rosy cheeks in less than 5 seconds. How simple was that!

The color looks natural and sheer. Not too bright. It adjusts to your skin tone. Although I love pink shades, Tarte has the kind of red that makes me look as if I just blushed. It's like being kissed on the cheeks for the very first time!

Im very satisfied with my Tarte. It's a quick way to get a glow without too much fuss. No need for brushes, just fingers and your all set! I sometimes use it on my lips too and it'd still look nice. It's perfect for lazy gals like me. The stick could also last for ages. So it saves you the money from buying several blush ons or even lipsticks. Definitely a great deal and a smart buy. Okay, that's my babble for the day. Have a fab day, pretty ladies:-)

Frutti Froyo Delight!

I looove yogurt!

Cute play of colors

Nice fruity logo

My dog waiting for his taste of yogurt...

WARNING:Froyo Overload!!!

Yogurts are sooo yummy! It's my ultimate favorite treat in the world. I could eat it every hour and every day. I could eat truckloads of it! Whenever I have a bad day or in a grumpy mood, yogurt never fails to make me happy. It tickles my tastebuds and I never get tired of it.

I always like to try different brands of yogurts. I like comparing notes as to which tastes better. So when I first tried Frutti Froyo's plain yogurt I was like aaaah in heaven! I'm instantly hooked. It's just the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. It sort of reminds me of my favorite drink when I was a kid...Yakult. It's soft and creamy texture just melts in my mouth. Ooh-la-la!

Its a DIY sort of thing. You mix and match to your hearts desire. After taking a cup(size of your choice), you just go to the vendo machine and pick any flavor you like. There's a variety of flavors to choose from. Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, banana, plain yogurt...etc. Then just proceed to the toppings section where anything is possible. There's Oreo, rice crispies, brownie fudge, almonds...and the list goes on and on...

rainbow animation

I prefer to sprinkle mine with those cute rainbow candies. I enjoy looking at the kaleidoscope of colors as they slowly melt with yogurt. It's like eating stuffs made out of dreams.

Last step would be to go to the counter where they have to weigh the contents. It's eighteen bucks per ounce. I usually end up paying more than 200 pesos for mine coz I always prefer the largest size. I know it's kinda pricey but the taste is well worth it. So I don't mind!

Then off you go! Happy eating time! I slurp and gobble mine in a wink of an eye that's why I sometimes end with two cups in tow. But since its low-fat, it's basically guilt free.

I've been wanting to write about this favorite treat of mine for quite sometime now. I'm just glad I got it off my chest. So if you're craving for something sweet, cold and yummy Frutti Froyo is definitely worth the try!  :-)

H&M Sandals

Sideview...i like the heels
Backview
The faux snakeskin looks nice
How it looks like from afar (without camera flash)
Kinda looks "gladiatorish"

Left and right angle

I'm diggin' these shoes at the moment. Firstly, it's heels. I love heels! I like that it's not too high nor too low. Just right to elongate my calves and give them a shapelier illusion.

Second, I like its color. The combination of beige and browns looks pretty. And it matches a lot of my clothes and purses. Its brown heels blends well with the faux snakeskin.

Third, I love it's design. I don't know what you call it. But it's sort of a mix between strappy and gladiator sandals. It adds pizazz and spunk to my ensamble. It goes well with my skinny jeans or even short shorts. It also feels comfortable on my feet.

Lastly, it's not pricey. I love it that H&M produces cheap but stylish shoes, clothes, accessories and even makeup. You can look expensive at a fraction of a cost and makes you look trendy without burning a hole in your pocket.

I've always had a penchant for mixing and matching expensive stuffs with cheaper ones, as long as they look good and well-put together. I don't believe in wearing designer stuffs from head to toe. I find it tacky. So if I find an item that blends well with my outfit, I snag it no matter how much the price is.

I can't wait for my next trip to H&M! and find more items that will give me plenty more reasons to smile:-)
