Apple iPad Review

Isn't my wallpaper cute? hehe :-)

My iPod Touch looks like a mini-me version!

Default icons/applications

I haven't downloaded anything yet
But soon i will add games, games and games!

SETTINGS

Very easy to understand settings
You won't even have to read the manual anymore!
(but better if you do...hehe)

CONTACTS

I obviously haven't placed any contacts yet
Too lazy...hehe
But i'll start putting soon...hopefully;-)

CALENDAR

This feature won't give you
much excuses to miss those important
appointments anymore...
Will keep track of your schedules
like a trusty old secretary

PHOTOS

It automatically sorts out photos by events and dates
Very convenient for DISORGANIZED girls like me
You can also use this as a digital picture frame...cool!

NOTES

I use this as sort of a "digital scratchpaper" for blogging
or writing whatever that comes into mind
Comes in handy everytime i forget to bring pen and paper

MAILS

Sending and receiving emails becomes a breeze
as i can do it anywhere that has a wifi connection

MAPS

I especially like this function coz i can conveniently
LOCATE any place, anywhere in the world
No more getting lost!
Just type any address and the map will
instantly show you where...

VIDEOS

You can download videos easily
and watch them wherever you are
Comes in handy when you're super BORED

iPOD

I don't really use this at all
since i prefer using a separate iPod

ACCESSORIES:
I placed a clear plastic casing (Maclove) at the back
to protect it from scratches

I had to buy a separate Apple SD card slot
Since iPad doesn't have one...tsk...tsk!
To be able to transfer pictures straight from my camera

I also got this hot pink padded cover (Javasparks) for further protection
Especially since i'm prone to dropping my things

Chino and Zoe posing with it

My beloved iPod Touch had to take a backseat when this baby arrived.
I have to admit that the only reason why i wanted this
was because of the hype it received
But now that i'm using it
I fully understand why so many people love this!

Albeit the size, its features are very similar to iPod Touch.
Same interface, touch-screen  applications and look.
I prefer using this though coz' surfing is more pleasurable
with its huge screen

The battery life is excellent!
You could surf from midnight til' morning
And you'll still have enough left
Saves you the hassle from constant rechargings

It would have been awesome if
only Apple added a built in camera...
But that's asking for too much already!
Nevertheless i'm very satisfied
Truly a great buy!

That's all for now
Thank you sweeties!
See you again next time:-)

MAC Fast Response Eye Cream Review

 2 in 1 product

Gel like consistency that blends well

I use this both as moisturizer and concealer primer
Light and fast-absorbing
This opaque gel has the kind of consistency
That instantly sinks into skin
Leaving it soft and smooth
Makes concealer application so much easier
As it glides like silk
 Which lessens unnecessary undereye tugging

Creamy gel

Though it didn't do much for dark circles
I noticed that in time
It helped in de-puffing my eyes
Made them look firm and well-rested...
And the silicone base gel filled the fine lines as well
For that even-toned look

Concealer without the cream

With MAC fast response cream
Concealer blends even better

I consider this as one of those products
that is GREAT to have but i CAN live without
I think that regular eyecreams can achieve a similar effect
at a fraction of a cost

Will i repurchase?

Hmmm...perhaps yes
when i have lots of extra moohlahs to burn
The small white tube will last for a long time anyway
As only a small amount is needed...
But for now i'll enjoy using this
up to the very last drop!

Gotta go now! Thanks for visiting sweeties! :-)

Mary Kay Lipstick in Hibiscus

Deep maroon/burgundy shade

Has color marker
on the cover so you won't
have to doubleguess the shade inside

Flower inspired name

Swatch swab

Vivid and bold color
Pardon the smears
Was in a rush when i did this hehe!

The color will STAIN your lips
long after you remove it

I'm not really fond of Mary Kay and dark lipsticks.
But when somebody i knew offered me some of their products, i couldn't find the heart to say no.
She gave me this lipstick as a freebie since i bought quite a number of items which included  Melacep mask, toner, essence, Microdermabrasion Kit (sooo goood!), and a few makeup...
All of which i'm still trying and will be reviewing soon.

Going back, this lipstick isn't really my cup of tea.
This may be a lovely color to some but personally i would NEVER buy this on my own.
Why? coz it doesn't suit me at all.
I think it even made me look TEN years older haha!
But since it's free, who am i to complain?
I figured, i'll just make a post about it for those who might actually like this crimson shade.

PROS:
-rich vivid color
-color stays true
-glides easily on the lips
-has vitamin C and E (against wtinkles)
-super longlasting (leaves stain on lips)
-didn't feather and bleed
-moisturizing
-very cheap

CONS:
-don't like the smell
-color is not for everyone
-the stain can be quite hard to remove

Will i repurchase? nope!

I'm thinking of giving this away to my mom who usually sports burgundy hues.
The lipstick is not bad on its own, it was actually good considering it has a lot of plus points.
But I wouldv'e liked it better IF it was in another shade...
The only way i could ever wear this color is by BLOTTING the lipstick off
so that it would leave a nice "wine-stain" like effect on my lips.

Anyway, i did enjoy taking pictures of this lippie coz the vivid color photographs really well! Hehe!
Ok, that's it for now thanks again for taking the time out to visit my site.
Really means a lot!
 HUGS!!!
See ya all! :-)

Olympus Pen E-PL1 Camera and a Few Amateur Shots

I'm VERY happy with my new Olympus Cam!

I like its clean WHITE color and khaki accent
on the side

Interchangeable lenses

12.3 Megapixels
2.7' LCD monitor
Perfect for my beauty blog!

I won't go into the technical details of this camera as i'm still in the process of familiarizing myself with its various functions and specs. All i know is that its easy to use "point and shoot" style is great for beginners like me. I love it that Olympus made a camera suited for all the girly-girls out there. It's not as huge and bulky as the regular professional cams yet the performance is almost as good. The best part is it is very affordable!

Now here are some sample shots:

My lens cover

Eucalyptus

Airsoft gun pellets

Coins

School art material

Raindrops

Chair detail

Bottle warning

My playing dogs

Grown up Zoe looking outside

Arowana frame

Wooden shades

City view

I'm still a newbie when it comes to photography
So I decided to play and have fun
experimenting
with some of the cam's settings...
I
REALLY
wanna learn more styles and techniques
so that someday i'll have better
pictures to share
But for now this is all i've got...
Yet
I
HOPE
you liked my shots;-)

Thank you for dropping by peeps!
