LV Mini Pochette Accessories Patch, an Award and a Beauty Tag

Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of post. I have not been feeling well lately :-( Sigh! But i promise to be back on track soon. I really appreciate those who take time to visit, comment, tag and send me awards. Helps to cheer me up! For today 'll be showing another LV thing that i love...

Been loving this for so long!

Handy mini-size

Very cute pochette

Significant patches

Can store several small items, has a nice inner lining

I put a few of my knicknacks here

Chic way to store any stuff or whatsoever!

The first thing that attracted me to this teeny tiny bag is it's cute design which is a tribute to Louis Vuitton's rich history. The traditional pouch has been revisited with patches inspired from the archives. Each patch represent significant places memorable to the luxury brand.

Specs:
-golden-brass pieces
-zipper closure
-canvas and textile lining
-golden metal chain
-D-ring

I use this bag to store my extra knicknacks or stuffs. I sometimes carry it on its own when i'm too lazy to bring a regular sized bag. It also doubles as an alternate makeup bag when my LV cosmetic pouch is literally overflowing with cosmetics. This pochette helps organized my  normally messy bag. I am very pleased with this and i can see myself using this until i grow old:-)

Yey, i got another award again from 3 of the sweetest and most talented bloggers
Michelle-she posts great and clever ideas for makeup/accessories storage
Katrina-gives great reviews on affordable items for budget conscious people
Madiha-her gorgeous eye makeup skills are to die for

I'll be skipping the 7 things to know about me as i have previously answered it and i wanna tag again peeps who are interested.

Also, i got a beauty tag...

I LOVE YOUR BLOG TAG:

I got tagged by one of the fabulous bloggers i love, Eva of  Bella Chic. You should definitely visit her awesome blog:-)

That's all folks thanks for visiting
                 Until next time sweeties! :-)

LV Alma Gold Mirroir and December haul

Prepare to be dazzled by Alma Gold

You'll need to wear your sunnies or you'll get blinded by this..haha!

I cannot think of a more fitting time to post this bag than this holiday season. This is my third Alma bag, i don't know why i keep getting this style especially since i'm the shoulder bag type of girl..Well i got this sometime in December two Christmases ago. This is one bag that i salivated over for a looong time. I was torn between the silver or gold. But settled on the latter as Mr G said the silver looks like a tin foil bag. I had to wait for a month as  LV Raffles in Singapore only carried the silver version and the gold one had to be shipped from another country.

(Pardon the poor quality, was still using my crappy old cam when i took these shots)

I remember the first time i held it, i was so in awe with the color, texture, smell and it's exquisite craftsmanship. There's a kind of  indefinable high as i slowly trace my fingers on its smooth embossed logo. What a rare vintage 1983 Merlot bottle is to a wine aficionado is what this bag was to me then...

Huge GM size

The monogram vinyl is so brilliant that it shines even from afar!

It has the typical Alma features:
-integral closure by double zipper
-golden brass pieces
-textile lining
-one inside flat pocket and a phone holder
-studs at the base for bag protection
*this bag is very delicate and prone to scratches that's
why i'm always extra careful when i carry this which is hard
to do coz' i'm naturally a careless person..he he

Exquisitely done embossed logo and fine details

Sadly, as much as i like it i rarely use it. I know it sounds crazy but sometimes i feel embarrassed to carry this. It basically screams for attention, it's just too loud and too much of a bling-bling bag for me. Sometimes i get weird stares when i use this hehe. I really don't know what i was thinking that time. Plus it's not easy to match this bag with just any outfit. It has the tendency to make me look eccentric when not worn the right way. So i find myself using this only during the holidays, parties and "dressier" occasions. Though it looks flashy, it can still be worn casually by wearing jeans, plain white long-sleeves or polo and minimal accessories. It tones the whole "glitzy" effect down.

The last time i visited the LV website another Alma caught my eye, a Monogram Vernis in a beautiful pink blush shade.--Rose Florentine. Sooo pretty! I wish i got that instead *sigh*  but i still love my gold bag and i'm in a big bag detox now so no plans of getting a new one in the near future.

Now here's my December haul/treats...

I'll be doing a review of some of these products soon...
A few of the items in my wishlist are now realized but i also had to do some changes coz' some of the items/shades that i want are either out of stock or not available locally like the YSL lippies/palette, Chanel Rose Petal blush and Bobbi Brown Mini Bright lights palette. :-( But i finally got my very own UD NYC palette already! yohoo!

Thanks for visiting again sweeties
Hope you're enjoying the holidays:-)

LV Multicolore Luck It Bracelet

Price-$265

I love wearing this charming bracelet

So cute!

Sentimental appeal

I don't really need this. I just wanted it coz it's damn pretty! So I told myself "Nah! Forget it, just save your money for something more useful...blah blah blah!"

But who am I kidding?!

Knowing me, I won't be able to forget this thing that easily. My OC side kept nagging me. I tried so hard to resist and ignore it...but to no avail! So you could just imagine my utter delight the moment i wore it on my wrist...

Exquisitely crafted

Fashioned from rolled canvas, it is adorned with cute laquered keycharms and golden metal lock. The padlock and key kinda' reminds me of highschool days when diaries and crushes were all the rage. I would guard my secrets, dreams and wishes to death using these precious locks.

Sigh! this bracelet is making me wax nostalgia...

Cute lilac padlock and pink key
Simply irresistable!

It also has a black Murakami version called "Charm it". But I like this one better coz it looks happier and more cheerful. The stark contrast between the white background and the bright monogram logos makes the colors POP out even more!

Looks dainty on my wrist

"Forever a Keepsake"

This is definitely a keeper and could easily become anybody's favorite. I've been using this almost everyday. It looks great with casual tops, jeans or shorts. And it goes well with my other accessories too. Adds cuteness factor to any outfit!

Well that's it for now, I have more stuffs to share and review soon. Hope you all drop by again, really appreciate it! :-)

September has been one helluva' rollercoaster month for me. From feeling really down with my grandmas demise to feeling high again when i celebrated my birthday last September 12.

So let me share a brief story about my birthday surprise courtesy of Mr G...

A week before my special day, he saw how sad and devastated I was from losing Granny. So he tried his very best to console, comfort and make me feel better because he knew how deeply affected I was...to the point that i wasn't even looking forward to my own birthday anymore.

Despite all that he still continued to uplift my spirit. He constantly assured me that he will soon make me "smile" again. But he also warned me that there will be days when i'm not gonna see him, that he's gonna be out, that he will be very very busy and that i'm not supposed to know what it's all about. So i just let him be...

                               b-dAY

Obviously, he's up to something! I knew he's planning some sort of a surprise coz' sometimes I can see traces of party papers peeking out of the many bags he's hiding from me. I also saw some nicks and paper cuts on his palms. Proof of hard work. Hehe!  Since he cannot execute his plan at home coz I'll be able to see it, he decided to transform our vacant condo into something else.

And boy what a surprise it was! I wanna share to you guys some of the pics i took during my bday.

Here they are:

Cute birthday candles...
Happy birthday to me!
A year older
And wiser
Or am i?
Hehe!

Mr G blindfolded me
and led me from the mini hallway to the sala.
I was totally shocked when i saw how different
the condo looked like.
He totally transformed it!
It was like i'm in another place.
It looked kinda mod and retro.
I half-expected Austin Powers and the Shagadelic peeps to pop out.

This is how the kitchen looked like.
All my favorite dishes were served!
Drapes and foil strips were everywhere.
It looked so fun, funky and "funtastic"!

I was just in awe with all of Mr G's efforts
He decorated the place according
to my taste and how i will like it.
The colors, style and even the
littlest details were really taken care of.

To add more drama
He even draped fuschia and neon green cloths on the hand rails.
The colors blended well with the balloons.

He literally filled the entire ceiling with balloons.
Patrick, Snow White and butterfly balloons galore...haha!
I felt like a kid lost in dreamland...

Birthday flowers.
Tulips.
My favorite flower.
In my favorite shade.
So thoughtful of him!

I loooved my birthday cake!
He specifically asked the fab cake maker, Penk Ching of Pastry Bin
to create a cake out of my favorite Louis Vuitton bag...Manhattan GM
How cool is that!
In carrot and walnut flavor which i like.
I was totally floored!

They even added cute makeup stuffs.
Candy eyeshadows, powders, liners and lipsticks!
Which i all ate after!
Except the bag coz its too big...and too pretty.
I just want to encase it or even use it. Haha!
Bye-bye diet!

Cake details up close
In side view.
You can even see the tiny stitchings.
The bag is also semi-open.
Just exactly how i use my bag.
I keep forgetting to close the zipper all the way.
And for it to be captured in a cake is just sooo amusing!

Say hello to the birthday cupcakes...
In mini bag and shoe designs.

The teeny tiny cupcakes looked adorably cute.
Scattered all around the place.
So feminine and girly looking!

It is just so me.
Im a high-heels girl.
The chocolate cupcake with mint frosting is yummy!
I ate more than i should...tsk...tsk...
But i cant help but be tempted
with such a sweet looking thing.

Mr G made an altar of my gifts.
I know it's a lot!
Well that's just how he is.
He loves to shower me with gifts.
Even when i tell him no need!
But i'm not complaining either...hehe

I loved all my presents
All well-thought of.
LV Alma Vernis MM bag in Pomme d' Amour, Charriol, I-Pad, Pearls,
Running shoes, Oakley shades, lilac PSP and assortment of makeup...
My sweet cousin and her hubby
also gave me a very nice gift, an
I-pad holder and protector.

My two birthday dogs Chino and Zoe
who both wore red just for the occassion also
had fun celebrating with me....
Now they both look so tired and conked out!

It's a wrap!
What a memorable and happy birthday!
I am truly touched with all the time, effort and love
Mr G poured just to make my birthday extra special.
I appreciate everything...
Honestly i wouldv'e been just as happy
Just holding his hand
Just being with him
and
loving him
Not just on my birthday
But each and every day...

Afterwards, we met up with my family for a dinner buffet at Spiral in Sofitel. So more food chomping moments ensued! I could barely breathe or walk after. Gotta hit the treadmill again soon or else...!

T'was a perfect nightcap to end the lovely day. I had a wonderful time just being around the people who loves me the most. And that's all that i need!

Overall, my birthday was just...

Hope you liked my pics! And may you all have a great weekend ahead...hugs!

P.S.
To my Granny dear, in my heart I knew you were there with me...miss you so much! :-)
