Pink Graffiti Speedy

Fresh from the box
(my camera cannot capture its actual color)

Off you go plastic covering!

My Speedy Graffiti has been with me for over a year now. It still looks fresh and pristine since the day I took it out of the box. Well coz I'm guilty of not using it too much coz it doesn't go with anything and I sometimes have to use my lazy brain on what outfit goes with it.

I remember being on the waitlist before this bag was released early last year. After acquiring my Roses Speedy this was next in line on my wishlist. Same as the Roses line, this bag was inspired by the legendary Stephen Sprouse. I always like it when they put a twist to the traditional Speedy coz it adds flavor and drama!

It looks sassy, chic, modern and funky. It came out in 3 colors. Neon green, orange and pink. I chose the latter over green coz it adds a feminine touch to it's edgy appeal. But the green is also nice. It's  glow-in-the-dark feature also fascinated me. I just found it so cool! Hehe!

I often pair it with a black, white or pink top. I don't see the need for much accessories as this bag alone standsout! I also noticed that it's very eyecatching, as I have seen several heads turn everytime I use it. I rarely see a lot of women carry this. Perhaps because it is trendy and will soon go out of style. But I don't care coz it looks pretty and looks good on my collection.

I don't hold much sentiments for this bag coz I wasn't head over heels with this to begin with. I just followed with the trend. Hehe. I'm glad I'm no longer that kind of girl who just goes with the flow. I have learned to choose wisely now and not get swayed with the fad anymore.

Although I don't regret buying this, I regret not using it too much. I sometimes find it such a waste that it just gets stuck in the closet. I don't have the heart to sell it as well coz I like the way it looks. This is one of those bags that I like but not really want. Oh well, since she's on my bag spotlight now I sort of am inspired to use it again. Maybe tomorrow or next week or next month. Haha! That's all for now. Thanks for dropping by, I still have a few more bags to highlight next time!

pretties!

I really like the green one as well~ but I feel the speedy bags in general aren't the most reasonable purchase. I loveee bags, but prefer ones I can get more use out of, and ones that require less work (to maintain the leather and shape of these bags require effort). But I like the graffiti ones over the regular ones because they are more unique!

Fabulous edgy bag!! =)
I think a simple outfit with basic colors will go great with the bag bc it's already a statement piece. Nothing much is really needed.

I luv Chanel bags too, but atm I need to save even though I do like to splurge on things. lol
